Picture of the week: Lake Atitlan Sunset

Spending New Year’s Day on Lake Atitlan was the perfect way to start off a year.  We took a boat tour around the lake and visited some of the towns, stopping at an art shop and a weaving cooperative along the way.  As the day wound down, I was content to relax on the shore and watch the beautiful sunset over the lake with volcanoes in the background.
